04 — THE PORTFOLIO
Clarissa Tee.
20 — content creator, social media manager, and the person behind the camera on this whole site. I turned a genuine love of cars, bikes, and video into both a paying job and a self-built brand. Over 2 years of sales experience alongside it.
I want to prove I can build something out of nothing — whether that's growing a brand's social presence, running my own site and shop from the ground up, or turning a shared love of motorsport into a following. I care about seeing things through properly: strong communication, real client relationships, and work I'm still proud of once it's live.
As a creative, I like seeing a project through start to finish — filming every little detail of the content myself, editing it, and taking it all the way through to posting. I'd rather own the whole process than hand off half of it. If you're looking for someone who treats content, sales, and community the same way — properly, and start to finish — I'd love the chance to talk.

The Flexologist — Social Media Manager
I manage @theflexologistkl's social media hybridly — content strategy, filming, editing, and posting across the account day to day. In 2025 I was flown out to Thailand to cover the SEA Games, the biggest sporting event in South East Asia, making content and travelling alongside the Malaysian athletes.
I also help handle big brand collaborations on the account — including CIMB x The Flexologist, Ebène x The Flexologist at The Sky Race, and Tatler Grit x The Flexologist, among a few others.

I built Yami Cam from nothing — as a way to share my love of videography and photography, and to give the car and bike meet community somewhere to actually get their photos. Everything on this site, including the tools, the shop, and the shoots, is something I've shot, built, or run myself.

@Sweet.RushxNZ
Sweet.RushxNZ is something I co-founded with @nd1ka06 — we go to car and bike events to live stream, run on-camera interviews with the community, and just be ourselves while we do it. Dika understands cars inside and out; I bring the bike side of things, so between the two of us the whole scene's covered.

Talking to the NZ Motor Scene
Me and @nd1ka06 going up to car and bike enthusiasts at meets, asking them questions on camera, and sharing it with the wider online community — not a sit-down interview, just genuine conversations with the scene itself.
We cover everything from what people are driving or riding and why, to how they got into the scene, build stories, and what keeps them coming back to meets. It's an ongoing series — new conversations get added as we go to more meets.

Before Yami Cam and The Flexologist, I worked with @drinkfreeaf — this is where I actually learned social media marketing and sales, working sales operations and promotional support day to day.
I had a hand in pretty much everything — front-end sales, marketing support, back-end, logistics, and more. My favourite part of the whole job was always talking to customers.

My Gear
My main camera is a Fujifilm mirrorless — that's what most of my photography runs through day to day. Alongside that, I collect vintage camcorders and fix them up myself — a big part of where the one-off cameras in the shop come from.
I care about understanding the tools, not just using them. A camcorder gives footage a texture and motion feel that modern 4K/8K just can't replicate — that "lower quality" analog look is exactly why it stands out now, when everything else looks the same, sharp, high-res clip. Knowing when to reach for which one is part of the craft.
On the social side — one thing people get wrong is thinking more posts means more growth. Posting every single day usually backfires: it trains the algorithm to expect volume over quality, burns through your best ideas fast, and audiences start scrolling past content that feels rushed. I work to a slower, more deliberate posting rhythm instead — fewer, stronger pieces that actually hold attention, which is what drives real interactions and profile visits, not just impressions.

09 — THE STORY
Two loves. One place.
Yami Cam is what happens when motorbikes and cameras collide. Founder Clarissa built it around one idea — meet new people, share what she's into, and see where it goes.
It started at 20, staring down two roads: a business-minded route with less fun, or a fun, creative route with less certainty. She picked both. Whatever she's building — an engraved tank, a tapeless camcorder, a pop-up table — she brings her A-game, builds what she loves, and shares it with everyone.
Yami is named after this — Clarissa's 2017 Yamaha R3.
Outside of Yami Cam, Clarissa also works in social media management and has a few years of hands-on sales experience behind her too — she brings the same all-in energy to everything she touches, whether that's brand strategy, restoring old camcorders, or talking to strangers at a car meet.
